“We stayed here as we were travelling to Cornwall so a quick stop over. The room we had was a classic king bed. The room was small in comparison to most hotels with that standard of room - very narrow entry and distance between the end of the bed and the wall. The shower was extremely small making it difficult to actually get in and out. The room was very hot - no air conditioning so we opened the window to at least have some air circulation and only a duvet on the bed so somewhat uncomfortable……

“We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family.”

“When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality.”

“The room was very clean, the welcome was warm, and even though hot food is not allowed in the rooms, we were very pleased with the effort that Tim and Vicky went to to set up for us to have a takeaway dinner in the dining area. The location is great - literally around the corner from Torre Abbey, gardens, and the beach, marina and high street are not too far also.”

“Received a text stating that access codes for the property would be provided shortly after 14:00 for check in at 15:00. Phoned at 14:30 and left message. Left 2 subsequent messages with no call back or codes. Emailed at 15:20 having still not received access codes or a call back stating that if codes were not received by 15:30 I would be expecting a refund. At 15:30 left to find another hotel and just as we were about to check in there, the text with codes arrived with an email and a very……

“The hotel was very good quality for the price staff were very polite and helpful, if you needed anything, the room was adequate for what I needed bed was comfortable got a couple of good nights sleeps old hotel and room showed it could do with updating And walls were very thin. I was very disappointed with the very small shower ok for petite people but well built people like me would struggle and did.Breakfast was very good could not fault it never tried the restaurant but the Bistro bars food……
