“We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family.”

“Breakfast was ok but pastries were not warmed up so were hard. Cooked breakfast didn’t look very appealing so I just went with porridge pots, the occasional firm pastry and coffee from the machine which was pretty good.”

“Beautiful from top to bottom - wonderful extras like fresh milk in the fridge, a chocolate treat and great coffee. All staff were amazing - so friendly and welcoming and genuinely kind. We have already recommended Hotel indigo to our friends - just a shame that we were only staying one night! ”

“Was in Torquay for a week at a Christian conference in the riviera centre. The guest house was 5 minutes walk away so really convenient. Breakfast was excellent with lots of cooked choices. There was also cereals which I never managed as the cooked was large enough to see me till dinner time. Jonathan was a good host. The guest house was very clean and well kept, a sign that the owners took pride in the service they gave. Would definitely recommend. ”

“The outside of the hotel is looking a bit drab and in need of a good clean/paint. The reception area was very pretty and reception staff were pleasant. Check in was quick and efficient. Our room was large although could do with a refurbishment as some furniture was scruffy and ripped and the carpet was dirty, well worn and had an iron burn on it. There was plenty of storage. Tea and coffee making facilties also available. The bathroom was ok although there was signs of mould and the shower……

“The room was very clean, the welcome was warm, and even though hot food is not allowed in the rooms, we were very pleased with the effort that Tim and Vicky went to to set up for us to have a takeaway dinner in the dining area. The location is great - literally around the corner from Torre Abbey, gardens, and the beach, marina and high street are not too far also.”

“Lovely flat with a cracking view But...... Internet was lousy which meant the nice smart TV was unusable. Tried getting hold of the management but emails didn't get answered and telephone call centre was a contect centre who couldn't really help and promised a call back which didn't happen. ”

“When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality.”
