「A beautiful hotel with grand high ceilings and an eccentric historical townhouse charm. Perfectly located right on the shore of Loch Maree, with private lake access. Our room was peaceful and quiet, offering breathtaking views of the lake. The host was exceptionally friendly, warm and accommodating, adding a welcoming atmosphere to both the hotel and its cosy bar. He went out of his way to meet our requests, making us feel truly cared for. Easily our best experience on the NC500. 」

「A period house which has undergone some good and tasteful renovation to be well presented. Fantastic stay. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, making a meal for our slightly fussy 10yr old despite not having a proper child menu. Gave us a heads up when the local Stag paid a visit... Will be considered for use again if we return to Scotland for a visit. 」

「The staff made a real effort with us and our young son. They were really friendly, welcoming and informative. The hotel was in lovely condition, freshly decorated, nice attention to detail. Anything we needed they provided with efficiency and a smile. It was a real pleasure to stay there and we would have liked to stay longer.」
