"Great location. Paid parking is close. Most of the old building looks refreshed, but some hall carpeting looks tattered. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Breakfast buffet was hearty, but the coffee offered was so bad we bought instant in town and made our own at breakfast. Staff are very nice. There is a bar on-site, but we didn't use it."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. They were able to fix a sandwich for us on our late arrival. Very good breakfast and the evening meal we had was excellent. Clean and quiet room. We didn't use the parking as we arrived by train. Hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the station."

"This hotel was absolutely lovely, I wish we were able to stay more than one night. We stayed in the Cheif Suite and it was gorgeous. The bathroom was huge, the bed was comfortable, and the decor was really fun. The staff here really made it though- everyone was friendly, helpful, stored our luggage, and was patient with our questions. It's a great location, just a quick walk to the city center. "

"A lovely hotel in a perfect setting by the river. My only quibble is that one morning at breakfast two staff members had a disparaging conversation about a colleague within earshot of guests. Bar prices were a bit on the high side but other than that The Palace was terrific."
