“This is a beautifully restored historic home that is well equipped with everything you’ll need for a wonderful vacation. The view of the river, waterfall, and cliff on the property is stunning! The location was great for us. We fished the St Lawrence River and the boat launch to Chippewa Bay was 17 minutes away. Communication with the homeowner was great. They are very generous hosts. We had a relaxing time here.”

“Location is under major renovations. No hot breakfast, just a brown bag take out; banana / apple, fruit bar, coffee or bottled juice. Hallways in area of rooms is not being cleaned, have to request any house cleaning services. We were not told about this at check-in, so no beds made, fresh towels, etc. The phone in the room was dead. Have to walk around the outside of the building to locate the access door that has been left open to enter the building. Usually this meant walking through a short……

“Breakfast was Delicious on day one but no one in the dining room at 7 on day two. I had to leave and was disappointed. I returned just after ten and everything was put away. But a kind kitchen staff gave me a slice of quiche right out of the oven. It saved the day for me. Conveniently located just outside the city limits and very nice views of the River. Spacious room. Bathroom fixtures need replacing.”

“Small but well appointed room. Great views especially if you climb stairs to top. Stocked with nibbles but only two choices for cereal. It is an arduous climb to room #2 up 4 long flights so not for anyone with bad joints. Beautiful location.”

“Great location by the river and the room we had was big and very well maintained. We had to check in at the sister hotel about a mile away but this was quick and efficient. Recommended !”
