It’s alright

No WiFi at all. Could not communicate with family. The private tub was dirty. Appreciate the attentiveness of workers staying late to open the door when we arrived late. Cameras on site were good to ensure the car was safe to park outside.

The property amenities were a complete lie. There was no full service spa on the property and no spa tub. I wish I was informed of this because the “full service spa” was the only reason why I booked this resort. I’m extremely disappointed. On top of that, the pool is supposed to be open from 8-8 but you have to ask them to turn the pool on and then you have to wait 40 minutes for it to warm up. Also, there are no windows in any of the rooms, so there was no clean air circulation. Every morning I woke up very congested. The refrigerator in the kitchen was broken and did not keep anything cold. I would not recommend this place.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The manager was super nice in getting me set up with my room. Boho vibes. I love it. Cute and simple morning breakfast. Nice hot shower!!

You get what you pay for with Casa Macarena, if that. While we appreciated that we could find a spacious room here for $100 / night in pricy Tulum, even basic amenities seemed below standard or lacking. Our exterior sliding door into the room from our balcony didn’t lock, the hot tub heater didn’t work, our coffee for the in-room coffee maker was never refilled after day 1, and when we checked into the hotel, one of our room’s water bottles was already opened and half empty. We were also surprised to learn the road on which the hotel sits was unpaved. While Casa Macarena has some beautiful design and furnishings and gave us a home base in Tulum Pueblo for several nights, the experience was basic at best with some significant flaws.

L'hôtel est très beau. Par contre, nous avions réservé pour une chambre double familiale, qui montrait un spa privé sur les photos, mais nous avons eu la chambre de base, sans aucun spa. Nous avons eu beaucoup de difficulté à trouver un arrangement mais après avoir parler à une responsable sur Expedia, le gérant nous a changé de chambre pour une plus grande, qui était ma fois merveilleuse. C'est vraiment magnifique, le petit-déjeuner est petit mais bien, le service est agréable, des vélos gratuits sont fournis, et très propre. Par contre, il n'y a aucune eau chaude. On n'a malheureusement pas pu profiter de la piscine et du spa partagés puisqu'ils étaient très froid. Il n'y avait aucune eau chaude dans la douche non plus, ni dans le bain extérieur. De plus, pour les touristes ne connaissant pas trop le secteur, il faut savoir que l'hôtel est assez loin du centre ville et encore plus de la mer. Il faut marcher ou prendre un vélo dans un secteur peu recommandé, et le soir c'est assez épeurant. Enfin, je dois dire que le personnel a été très agréable, toujours là pour nous aider. Nous avons bien aimer l'endroit, malgré l'emplacement, les difficultés rencontrés et l'eau froide.

AMAZING!!! The pictures don’t do the property justice. The staff is AMAZING!!! So nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and apartment style. Someone would come in and wash any used dishes and clean up while we were away. Water pressure was amazing, and we always had clean towels! This isn’t your typical hotel with a desk check in but someone from the hotel is on the property 24 hours, everyday. The hotel had a nice vibe, very clean, and felt like a home away from home. The person on duty from the staff always made sure the we felt comfortable and safe. Answered every question, gave us their WhatsApp so we can text them. Although the area is very safe, they had security who would wait for us to return from a night out on the town which was definitely a plus being that my bestfriend and I traveled there alone. The property isn’t on the main road but only a short taxi ride away from everything. I would definitely visit again and stay here!! This property exceeds the price that they book their rooms for. You get WAY more than what you pay !

Die Unterkunft sieht exakt so aus wie auf den Bildern, wir wurden herzlich empfangen und uns wurde zu jeder Zeit nett geholfen, wenn wir fragen hatten oder z.b. einen Fahrer benötigten. Wir haben des Öfteren die Fahrräder geliehen, perfekt wenn man Tulum selbst erkunden möchte. Die Wege sind doch ab und zu etwas länger.

I absolutely love this place! Aside from the staff being great - super sweet and nice and very helpful - the rooms are beyond amazing. The place is super clean, really well done and high quality, like apartment goals. You feel like you're in luxury when you're there. The pool area is super quiet and peaceful, plenty of sun and shade, and the pool is very refreshing from the strong sun. The beds are comfortable at the pool and in the room, shower pressure is amazing, the place is just so perfect. The only issue was that there wasnt any food readily available. They did offer to order food for me, but it seemed like a hassle for them and for me so I just ventured out. The hotel is not really in walking distance to a lot so we were thankful we had a car. They do have bikes to rent though! I recommend venturing out in the afternoons and buying breakfast foods at the grocery store to make at the hotel or stopping by Burrito Amor (a quick bike ride away) - they have THE best breakfast burritos and bowls.
