「Hilton Paper Valley has been our home away from home since our Lawrence student started the college journey a few years ago. We love it! 「We were in town for a family wedding and I reserved 3 rooms for us. My family showed up to check in and they were denied access because I was not physically present (I was coming later). Even though my wife is included in my profile they could not get in. My wife, daughter, and daughter-in-law had copies of the reservation but they would not honor them. 「This is a former Marriott property, and has really nice room design, even though some of it is a bit worn, dated, or tired. I was never willing to pay the rate when it was a Marriott, so this is a good compromise. Everything was good, nothing was actually terrible, and the price was good. Will stay again.」

「It was more like an extended stay facility and not so much like the average hotel. The icemaker is in the refrigerator or other than a big machine down the hall. The bed was a bit too close to the wall, but other than that, the room was comfortable.」

「Very run down which I normally don't mind but this hotel had a chain link fence around half of it and a musty/moldy smell permeated the rooms. We booked it because it has a hot tub, which was broken. There were no sign indicating it was broken or being repaired but it was colder than the pool! .」
