“Absolutely lovely B&B between downtown Detroit and Grosse Pointe. About a block from the river, located just up from a busy street (but no road noise). The house, which used to be owned by a wealthy family -- hense the name -- has been lovingly restored by its current owners. It is relatively new so I was immediately relieved as I have allergies and can’t often tolerate some of the older hotels. The front desk employee Ciara was lovely and efficient. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I lost my room key while running around and she remembered me immediately and easily able to set me up with a new one.”
