“Have stayed at many of the Taj properties and experienced very high standard service. This property doesn’t live up to a Taj standard. Totally disappointed with the food offerings and limited amenities. No luxury feel no pampering. Other than the view nothing worked for me. They need to get their game up.”

“We stayed one night in the premier room with balcony looking at the Ganga. Very nice staff for very helpful. Food was excellent Masala Tea was my favorite to enjoy. We enjoy the dinner in the restaurant on site very convenient.”

“Very elegant well maintained hotel with excellent staff and an excellent general manager. We were troubled by cramped bathroom, lack of a power socket in the bathroom, a lack of any clothes storage. There is not a single chest of drawer. There was no explanation of which power switch does what. Too many staff members but not enough information. ”

“It’s a new property that is very fresh and clean to stay with. It’s got all good amenities including AC, hot water, good content on TV, clean and comfortable linen. It’s only 15 mins walk from Har ki Pauri. The staff is very friendly and we’re accommodating with dietary needs of kids. They could do a bit better on breakfast experience but the staff tried to help when any additional request was made.”

“Rooms were nice. Bathroom did not have small towel rack. In room coffee was very light. Beds were excellent. Could not use the pool because of storms. ”

“ Pennylane hotel is a great place to stay in lower tapovan, great location, close to the cafes, restaurants, markets and the ghat, ganga river. What made it even more great, it is located in a quiet street away from the busy loud road. The rooms are clean and spacious, with Mountain views. There is a roof terrace and a cafe in the garden which gives chilled relaxing vibes. There is also a yoga shala and pottery studio on the rooftop. I extended my stay about 3 times as I enjoyed it there so……
