Large top-floor Vail Condo with Views | W405

Enjoy stunning views of Vail Mountain from your private balcony on the top floor of the Westwind, one of the few condos in Lionshead Village with an authentic, operable wood-burning fireplace. This spacious mountain retreat is perfect for hosting and entertaining large families or groups, offering an open-concept living area designed for comfort and connection. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the living space, complete with bar seating for casual meals and conversations. The condo is decorated with mountain-inspired décor and showcases a collection of captivating photos and artwork that celebrate the beauty of the Vail Valley. The primary bedroom is on the main floor and features a king-sized bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Also just off the living room is the second bedroom furnished with two twin beds and a full bathroom. Upstairs the third bedroom has a king-sized bed, while the fourth bedroom is ideal for kids or extra guests, with a double bunk bed. Great location and place to stay!

We had a wonderful vacation in Vail! The location was ideal as it was close to the Eagle Bahn gondola. The condo was cozy for family time but allowing for adequate privacy. The check in was a breeze even with a late arrival. We even received a call on the day of check in from the manager. Ski locker was a definite bonus!

Convenient and easy property

Short walk to lionshead gondola. Only a few flights of stairs down. Easy access to local restaurants. Nice large outdoor hot tub and pool. Property manager was responsive to requests. Would stay here again.

Great location!

Great space for 2 families! 4 bedrooms plus a loft bed. Living space was a little cramped for 8 but overall worked well. We skied 5 days. Excellent lockers to store skis off the garage. Short walk to the gondola. Overall we were super excited to find this place!

Wonderful condo!

We visited Vail in the summer and had an amazing stay at this condo. It was well stocked, the beds very comfortable, location was great and we also enjoyed the pool and hot tub! The staff was also wonderful. Thank you!

Great location!

Convenient location with easy walk to gondola/lift. Arrived after hours and property manager had called earlier to leave lockbox instructions. Easy check-in and everything at property was as expected. Perfect view of the mountain slopes from the living room! Would recommend stocking wood rack on deck since the only thing we missed was a nice fire after skiing each day.

Great location!

We were two families sharing the 4 bedroom condo and there was plenty of space. Great location (150 meters to lift). Easy garage parking. Community gas grill which was nice. Assigned ski lockers. And a heated pool with hot tub. I would highly recommend.

Unit was 93 degrees inside when we arrived

While the property management people were excellent and dealt with our issues immediately, we still had to spend the first night with temperatures inside the unit in the high 80's, after hours of opening windows and adjusting fans.. A heating unit was on and would not shut off. Without A/C it was miserable. The maid service was very good and the location is good. There is not a washer/dryer in the unit. The listing should read "community coin operated laundry" - which would be more accurate. Also, there is a metal spiral staircase up to the two top bedrooms which wasn't as clear as it could be and was a little treacherous for toddlers. As per usual in Lionshead, highway noise is terrible. But we found the property personnel very friendly, helpful, and apologetic about the heat situation.

Place was great! There were 9 of us for our annual gathering. The condo has a full kitchen and 3 full baths which was perfect for all of us. Was walking distance to the gondola and many great places to eat and have a drink. Vail village was a 10 min shuttle ride away for more shops, dining, and drinks. I definitely would stay here again.

Clean with a beautiful view of Lions Head. Definitely would stay again. Staff extremely helpful. Parking not a problem. Walking distance to Lions Head and Vail Village. The unit was well maintained.

Outstanding value, fantastic location

Sure, the Westwind is not the Ritz. It's not even the Marriott, if you're after chain-level quality. But its location alone makes up for any shortcomings. Walk to Gondola / restaurants & steps from the in-town shuttle (not any of those red/green shuttles which are infrequent & have farther to go). Beautiful view of the fancy hotels (which, in turn, have views of...the Westwind) and adequate hot tubs & pool. Town of Vail, please do not demolish this facility!
