“The hotel is a bit old, but clean, staff friendly. Pet fee is the highest we have paid ( $65 ). The breakfast was great ( used real eggs ), but otherwise very much like most. The dining area could be larger, we had to take our plates back to the room. This is a very convenient location ( walking distance ) to the Los Alamos History Museum. ”

“Well appointed 3 bedroom, 2 bath house just north of the Jemez historical site. 20 mintutes from great hiking at Fenton Lake or the Caldera area. As well as the picturesque area at Red Rocks.”

However, Mickey was amazing at communicating both before and after with how to get to the farm, what to see and do in the area, and even welcomed us back if we had a chance in the future. Her kindness and thoughtfulness surely must translate into her care in and around the accommodation as well. If we find ourselves able to head to Santa Fe/ Albuquerque area again, I will try to stay here.”

“The cabin is a treasure- immaculately clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pretty plates, the bed in the master had a good mattress and the linens and towels were luxurious. The living room was cozy and the deck was the perfect spot to recharge from a day of hiking and watch the hummingbirds. Initially I was concerned when I read that a 4-wheel drive vehicle was required but we had no problem with our Honda CRV.”

“Turkey Lodge is a beautiful home. So peaceful and beautiful, high in the mountains (8,700 feet more or less). Wild life and birds were fun to watch. My husband and I and my daughter's family of four had so much fun. And even though we worried it wouldn't work for the six of us, it was enough space with all the decks and outdoor living areas. Kaycee, the manager, was very responsive.”

“Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. Probably worth……
