However, the room #34 I received in a separate block behind the main building did not look like any of the rooms shown in the listing photos. I asked a staff member in person whether this was the twin bed room with private bathroom I had booked, and was confirmed that it was. I later contacted the guesthouse through Expedia to clarify why the room didn’t match any of the...

「The staff were lovely and very nice!! Location was wonderful! We had a great stay! Only side note, we thought the entry to bubble and plastic of bubble could have been cleaner. A good wipe to the plastic would do wonders. Wouldn’t take much to have them thoroughly polished up! Overall, we had a magical stay!!」

「It was nice and clean. Plus food was good.」

「Free parking, with average breakfast, clean but a little old condition」

「the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable.」

「Only suitable for self driving travellers.」

「Can see aurora there」

「The coffee maker hasn't been cleaning for long time. Moulds growing inside the water tank. Luckily I found it before drinking the coffee.」

「10/10 highly recommended. No doubt the best among all the accommodations of my 10-day Iceland trip. The host was so nice, she came to us with a warm greeting and introduced the apartment even we had our check-in at 8pm. The apartment was clean, comfy, tidy and spacious. Not to mention the stunning river view when you look out from the window. I even had an evening run to enjoy the riverside.」
