“My boyfriend and I are simple people and we have a different outlook on hotels than most. We book them just to sleep and move on so we don’t care about all the bells and whistles. This is a motel that you stay one night in and move on. It serves its purpose which is a bed and walls. Even we wouldn’t stay for more than one night. If you’re the type that requires modern, well kept, or even any type of extra hospitality this is not the place. There are people staying here because they have no other……

“Truly wasn't expecting what was served it met my standards of clean just out dated but microwave was spotless and not even dust on the t.v. the pool was nice when u had a couple of sun days to warm it and it was quiet. I stayed with my dad and my infant son and was comfortable lounging and enjoying the heat with the a.c. just steps away. Perfect area for dining and walking. Bus is only 1.50 to get to Walmart. I'd stay again. ”

“Very nice accommodation for the weekend, despite the air conditioner being out of order. Property mgr handled the situation very professionally. There is a restaurant/bar and adult pool below. Be prepared for music, laughing and a lot of loud conversations until about 10pm. Then they are closed and it is silent. The view from our balcony was fantastic ….. sea birds and dolphins and we think we saw some manatee activity. Short drive to honeymoon island state park and beach , as well as downtown……

“The only complaint we have is that there were cracked plastic glasses In the cabinet and we could not use them.I would replace all the plastic glasses they’re old and need to go! Plus 1 more toilet paper would have been nice,my husband did go to the office for it! I think there always s/be 2.”

The mattresses and bedding are comfortable as well as the other furniture pieces. The kitchen is well stocked, and full of extra special touches that we really appreciated like a few water bottles, a small snack basket, Keurig coffee pods, and a variety of teas. “The house is in a quiet, safe, clean neighborhood. Perfect for our family. We got in late and were greeted by the owner to get our keys, they showed us around. The house was clean and up to date. There were extra towels, soap and toothbrush’s. Full kitchen with everything you'd need. The 3rd bedroom isn’t enclosed. It does have half a wall up around it, connected to the TV room. Just in case someone thinks that it’s an actual room with walls and a door. Overall our stay was great. Communication……

“We had a fun time staying on a houseboat. It is a bit like camping in a RV. The boat is older and could use some TLC but I understand why that probably isn’t going to happen. We did have a good time and added a new experience.”
