「Everything excellent」

「The room is beautiful, the kitchen is big, the couch is comfortable, the bed was a little too firm for my old body but otherwise was great. The host was super nice, and answered promptly to all my questions. NOTE: if you need supplies get them from Hilo or get them before 5pm 'cause everything is closed early!!!」

「This place is a gem! New, spotless, and the owner's taste is 🔥 - elegant decor, vinyl player, umbrella, coffee beans... everything was top-notch. Plus, it's got great location with a store, cafe, and Thai restaurant nearby. Perfect stay!」

「Right next to the volcano park, great locations 」

「The host was excellent. Breakfast was handy. Location was perfect (was able to see an early morning eruption- 5 minutes to the park!) Room was large and comfortable. Lots of resources and books on site. Fridge for lunch/food and kitchen to cook if needed (reasonably stocked). Volcano is colder than Hilo - bring a jacket/sweater. Close to all the little local (delicious) restaurants. Volcano Forest Inn has seen better days. Place really need a deep clean and fresh paint in a few places. Hard to...

「The breakfast was great and people are so nice there.」

「Very secluded, cozy cabin that is just beautiful!!! If you are looking for a good place to spend quiet time with someone special THIS IS THE PLACE!!!」

「The property has a beautiful view and is minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park」

「The location was great! Minutes from Volcanoes National Park! Also it was close to some restaurants and gas! The place was spacious and had comfortable bedding. There was a heater for cooler nights! The coffee pod machine and fridge are such nice features!!!」

「Loved this location! We had a great stay. The cottage is not air conditioned, but it's very shaded and with the fans provided it didn't matter. The WiFi is very spotty, but it's a rural location, so that wasn't shocking. We were close enough to Volcanoes National Park that we got there before anyone else was even at the summit, which was incredible. There were a few restaurants within driving distance, but we appreciated the host's caution that most places close early and it's best to get...

「Volcano is a rural area, and this lodge is no different. The grounds are beautiful. This property is great for people who appreciate the outdoors. I was happy that the shower was HOT, as it gets cold in Volcano. Some things that would've made our stay a little better are: a portable fan, a larger dehumidifier, and bottled water. Note: the hosts provided drinking water in a beverage dispenser, however I would've preferred bottled water. The space was a little tight for our group of 4; I would...

「The house was very nice! Very peaceful place. The host was so helpful and accommodating. We ended up staying there during a hurricane. There was a back up power system so we never went without power. We had everything we needed. The property caretaker called to check on us and offered help if needed. Very nice people. I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it.」

「What a great place! We had a wonderful stay at this cute tiki cottage. The hosts had Hawaiian music playing when first arrived which was a really nice touch. Very well maintained grounds, beautiful flowers throughout. The tiki decor in the house was so fun and very well done. We had a relaxing evening on the lanai listening to the rain and kept cozy with lots of blankets because it does get cold at night. There was a heated mattress pad on the bed which was lovely. House was very clean and host...
