“I have contacted customer service about my stay. Unfortunately the property was not located where the VRBO listing indicated. I don’t know if this was a VRBO error or the property owner. I performed a VRBO search for Leesburg, Virginia- this property was listed as 6.1 miles from Leesburg, VA. That is not accurate- at least not driving. I would not have booked this property if I had known the mileage from Leesbrg wasn’t accurate. I had meetings and events in and around Leesburg and due to a……

“We had a great stay at Hillandale! It was a perfect spot for gathering family in town for our son’s wedding. It was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. There were lovely extras like snack baskets and fresh flowers in every room and extra toiletries in the bathrooms. A highlight was the beautiful outdoor space and setting. The house is an old farmhouse that has been added on to over the years which makes for long windy hallways upstairs and lots of hidden staircases. We loved it. Do note……

“Property is as advertised. Great for adults, not as great for families with kids as furnishings are very high end and fragile. Hosts were very attentive to our needs”

“The property is well located. The room was reasonably comfortable and the host provided some nice conveniences such as picnic plates and cutlery. On the downside, you WILL hear any night owl neighbors in the unit upstairs. Also, the flooring level change as you approach the bathroom is a bit of a tripping hazard. ”

“This is a beautiful property located in a lovely quiet area. I mostly enjoyed my stay while in the property. However, the listing does not indicate the fact that two of the three bedrooms are only connected to the hallway by one door. This may be awkward for some guest configurations as the person or people staying in the inner bedroom will have to cross through the other bedroom to access the landing and bathroom in the middle of the night. This was not a problem for us during our stay but……

“Liberty is 10 minutes away thank you very convenient. All the property is private quiet and serene. The house itself is so cool. Had a great layout with a master bedroom and bathroom, downstairs living room, joint kitchen and dining and then upstairs were three additional bedrooms and another bathroom. We booked this rental to have two families, a family of four and a family of two to go snowboarding over a long weekend check in process is easy even though it’s a small town in the country we……
