We had an incredible stay at this home in Alexandria, Virginia—it truly exceeded every expectation for our group of 4 adults and 5 kids. From the moment we walked in, you could feel the character and history of the space. The thoughtful historic details woven throughout gave it so much personality, while still being beautifully maintained and comfortable for a modern stay. It felt like a place with a story.The layout was perfect for a larger group like ours. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax, along with great gathering areas where we could all spend time together. The kids had an absolute blast, and the house made it easy for both adults and kids to enjoy themselves equally, which is no small feat.The location could not have been better. We loved being able to walk right out the door to explore Old Town, so many great shops and restaurants just steps away. We also took advantage of the nearby marina and water taxi, which was such a fun and easy way to get out on the water and even head to the Wharf. Getting to DC was incredibly convenient, making this the perfect home base for exploring both Alexandria and the city (and Mt Vernon)This is one of those rare places that combines charm, history, comfort, and location all in one. It created such a memorable experience for our whole group, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for families or larger groups looking for something special.
