“I did one overnight stay with my boyfriend and one year old. Unfortunately the pool was out of service, but the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. We drove in to Columbus, which was 10 minutes down I 10 towards Houston to go to a steakhouse and popped into their Hound song brewery for an appetizer and beer. Very easy location to access off of the interstate and close to gas stations, fast food, and Dollar General.”

“Hotel was not as I expected. I was hoping to find a family owned, well cared for, small town hotel but instead we found a small town, family owned tired and outdated hotel. The beds were not bad, but the hotel itself needs much updated. The bed skirts were dirty and torn, the base molding on the walls were coming off, the room refrigerator was nasty, the carpet was dirty and the bathroom floor was dirty. We swam in the pool a bit and it was clean, but had a lot of bugs. They had the “hot……

“When trying to get into our room the safety latch had been turned to keep anyone from getting into the room. Had to go back to lobby to get help. The clerk tried to accuse us of turning the latch. Told her we were just checking in and haven't even been in the room. She had no way to get the door open. Had to go back to lobby to get another room. Then back to get my partner and carry everything to another floor. Was very inconvenient since we are elderly. Breakfast wasn't anything to brag about.”

“Room was smelly...smelled like mildew and felt damp, it was really unpleasant. Hotel itself was fine, clean, ok breakfast.”

“For an advertised non-smoking room, it smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was stained and in disrepair. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat and not enough of them. It was cheap and convenient but I’d probably not stay there again. Towels were clean and having a fridge and microwave was nice for such a cheap room. Lack of deadbolts and safety bar was unsettling. The young lady at the counter was very courteous and brought my ID to my room when I forgot to take……

“The hotel smells!!! There is musty, moldy odor in the lobby and hallways, and even worse in the room. Air conditioner was very-very noisy. Would not recommend!!!”

“Grass was not cut in the back of the motel, gave an unkept look. The room had drastic temp changes. Clerk was nice. The breakfast was as expected.”

“I booked this online and reserved it. They charged me $96 on my credit card (I didn’t know they had charged me until I looked at my card days later. I thought I was going to pay when we got there. When we got there that evening, they said that there are no rooms available. So we left and stayed at another hotel in Schulenburg. I realized days later they still charged my credit card online. & he is REFUSING to refund me even tho we didn’t stay there cz they said there were no rooms left……
