“Our room, though very compact, was clean and the bed comfortable. No mirror in the bedroom area; only in the bathroom. Bathroom was clean and sufficient but very thin towels and the toilet seat was cracked/peeling. Our biggest complaint was the breakfast. Offerings were minimal and some was inedible fruit and with an hour to go in the breakfast timing there was very little left. When told about the empty servers and cold case, staff just shrugged and nothing was refilled. Very paltry and……

“Hotel is very well located. Near beach, shops, coffee shops, the Marginal way. Breakfast is extremely minimal- nothing fancy. Rooms are very outdated - I did not feel the sheets were cleaned properly, carpet in rooms is a huge no no for hotels. Parking is good and staff is helpful upon arrival”

It is located in a quiet area of town and was just so peaceful to be able to walk across the road to the water or sit in any of the provided chairs at the front of the property to enjoy the sights and sounds of the water. The staff were super friendly and helpful to give recommendations for food and activities.”

“We stayed here recently because we wanted a dog-friendly getaway, and it’s one of the few places in York that allows dogs. I know they recently opened, so I’m sure they are working things out, but we had some issues. Proximity to the beach is excellent and the pool was very nice. Beds were comfortable. Parking was easy and close to room. The main issue is that we stayed Wednesday through Sunday, and our room was never cleaned once. After three days we ran out of towels and toilet paper, and……
