“Amazing little oasis! Unique home, with cool decor. Missun and Dave are so kinda and welcoming which made us feel so comfortable. You can tell they are loved because all the guests there are now regulars that keep coming back.”

“Great location, quiet even though close to highway, front desk staff very friendly, clean, GREAT PILLOWS, comfy bed! Was here only for 1 night but pleasantly surprised how nice and clean and fairly updated and honestly how spacious this was for a quality inn. Would stay again”

“If you want a quiet slice of VA/Potomac waterfront, this is the place.”

“We liked this rental and it was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the private community beach located a 5-minute drive away from the property. I did want to mention a couple things I found surprising based on the listing. One is that the listing says it has ‘dock access.’ This is not accurate. The house sits on a small lake. There are stairs that go down to a DECK on the water. There is no dock, and swimming and boating are prohibited in the lake. I think calling it a dock implies that you……

“Enjoyed the stay. Easy access. ”

“This was my first VRBO experience and I loved how easy it was. The cottage is rustic and simple but that’s exactly what I was looking for. I ended up not making it to the winery, but it was an easy drive into Colonial Beach and over to George Washington’s birthplace. And a cozy place to curl up and read during the afternoon thunderstorm!”

“This was a beautiful B&B to stay at! Parking and check in was so easy, as lol the information is sent to you ahead of time. So you can just go straight to your room with no formal check in or out. The property was just right next to multiple places to eat and just two blocks from the beach. Communication was also easy by using their text number.”

“My family and I had a great time at this property fishing and crabbing. We also did a day trip to Westmoreland State Park, where we got to hike to Fossils Beach.”

“Beautiful place great communication really clean really nice and cut”

“Blackbeard was everything we expected it to be and more! Our family of 15 had plenty of room to explore and relax. We enjoyed a crab feast with fresh caught crabs from the dock! The home was very clean and comfortable. Nicholas and Dana were available, if needed, at all times . We highly recommend this house as a great family retreat!!”

“We had an excellent experience staying at this property. We will definitely rent this again!”

“Very nice little cottage, quite neighborhood and great location. Host was very friendly, helpful and available when needed. House is cute inside & out, nice beach theme. The bed is very comfortable, the sleeper sofa was found to be uncomfortable. The outside enclosure was very much enjoyed, with the seating, lights & fan. We enjoyed our stay here. We would rent this property again. Perfect cottage for 2.”

“Everything was great, beautiful open home, lovely patio, awesome fire pit. Could use a stool by bed due to high height and towel hooks for bath towels. Otherwise awesome! Responses from property owner were delayed but thorough when he did respond. Family enjoyed our time there. Definitely would go again. Thank you!”

“This property was perfect. The owners were home and we had the chance to meet them and they made sure we could get in properly. The deck was wonderful - beautiful sitting there and enjoying coffee in the morning. The inside was spotless and bed was comfortable. It was on a quiet street and it was delightful. Highly recommend this property for a couple's get away!”

“This charming apartment was thoughtfully decorated, spotlessly clean, with scenic views of the Potomac River and garden below from the 2nd story deck. The location was perfect - walkable to the beach, restaurants and morning coffee. The host communicated at every step, and access was quick and easy. Highly recommended!”

“Randall and Erin are the BEST hosts we've encountered during our 9-month road trip. Their hospitality is unmatched. The property is clean, big, and comfortable. While technically a basement, the dining area and kitchen are very bright with the full-size window and glass door. And, the entire unit has high ceiling. There are many details throughout the unit that we appreciated - all the helpful signages on the walls, the tasty well water, the yummy snacks in the welcome basket, the super……

“My mom and I stayed June 13th-June 15th. It is in a cute little town with walkable areas. The host was very helpful with check in. Would stay again!”
