“This property was perfect for my family with 3 kids, five years old and younger. The inside is clean and beautiful with many thoughtful touches. And the outside is serene and spacious, with front and back porches to relax on and watch the kids play. The owners are wonderful - quick to respond to messages and so kind and considerate! Loved, loved, loved!”

From the moment we arrived, it was evident that they had poured their hearts into ensuring our stay was unforgettable. Upon entering the cottage, we were greeted by the soothing sounds of jazz floating through the air. It was a warm welcome that immediately set the tone for our stay. We loved Homestead Cafe, only across the road within 2 miles from us. Great Food. The home is cozy and very comfy. We just stayed there 2 days and relaxed and sat on the porch. Clean and pretty.”

“We really enjoyed the "River Retreat" It was a cozy home! Although it was a wet kind of soggy weekend ... My family got to enjoy quality time together. We sat around the dinner table and reminisced about family memories, watched a couple of movies together and my youngest grand-daughter taught us a card game her teacher taught her. That was alot of fun! Our Family Reunion we attended was GREAT!! Linda, We lost power at the house during the storm, in fact the whole neighborhood did on Sunday……

For us with a student at Baylor, this location being south of Baylor is fabulous for traffic during popular Baylor weekends since you can travel on Old Robinson Road and skip I-35.”

“This place was excellent! Me and a few coworkers had a big project to take on that took a couple weeks. This place made us feel like we never left our homes. To be able to relax, cook dinner and have our own private rooms was perfect. Gayla, was an awesome host with simple instructions for checking in and out. Could not ask for a better host. I certainly would use this property again for any extended stays.”
