「Don’t bother going- smells And it’s unclean」

「The hotel room we were allocated was at the back of the building off a really bad smelling musty corridor which seeped into the room. The room itself, other than the smell, was good. Clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly. Food in the restaurant was great. We asked for our bins to be emptied and for fresh towels which didn't happen.」

「Our room was beamed and the superking sized bed was comfortable. There was a very thick duvet - a bit too hot for the weather - but an excellent fan was already in the room. Evening meal was good and a nice atmosphere in the bar and dining area. The waiter Connor was very attentive. Gluten free options are available but double check when ordering just to be sure!! Breakfast was self serve in a rustic kitchen . No GF options . All in all , a good one night stopover and a good price. Would go ...

「An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you」

「Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by...

「Welcome was lovely, room was really pretty with nice touches, pretty noisy though, you'll be lucky to get a solid nights sleep. Breakfast wasnt great either sadly. Overall though it was a lovely, pretty, welcoming hotel for a single night stay.」
