「Great place to stay for a fishing trip. Nothing beats walking onto your boat to go fishing at 6am and then coming home for a relaxing brunch by the water. Sue is a wonderful host. All the neighbours are friendly and Marks Point has a really strong community. The two local cafe's are both amazing. We did have one small problem with people using the jetty without permission and respect of the guests. Sue managed the issue very well which is all we can ask. 」

「Amazing host Leah - who prepares the cottage with lots of thoughtful extras making for a relaxing and easy stay. Spotlessly clean. The position is magnificence and the bed super comfortable with lovely linen. Air conditioning means the temperature is easily controlled. Places to sit and relax both inside and outside. We really can’t recommend this gorgeous lakeside stay enough - a wonderful experience with absolutely no negatives …. Unless you don’t like stairs. There are stairs to the road. 」

「The property was really lovely for a couple with a pooch. Small back yard with grass and outdoor furniture and an undercover entertaining area which was perfect for the hot evenings. Everything we needed was at our fingertips and the walk to local shops was 15 mins and walk to beach was 2 min. Perfect travel location to other parts of Port Stephens.」
