"I’m going to be honest The decor… it is seaside town - old regal building style and not the most fragrant. But the location, the size of the rooms and its staff - takes the rating up. It was clean and tidy - exceptionally placed for the BIC and a very lively bar underneath, which is great to continue ..."

"I chose this hotel because I assumed it would be old fashioned and full of character. So it turned out to be. It is very conveniently located. Inside is very comfortable if a little tired in places. The chairs are buttoned leather and the clientele at the time I stayed were in their golden years. ..."
