"My husband and I stayed at this hotel, because I was running the Big Sur marathon. It was an amazing hotel to stay for a couple. The rooms were clean. They had some great areas on property to hang out. The beach was a block away."

"Loved the relaxed vibe of the lobby area and the open plan to the dining room. The cleaning staff did a great job on being efficient and quick when cleaning our room. Coffee dock did really nice coffee and quiche!"

"The place was good and clean but they charged me for something they don’t even know what it’s about. I called and said i was not charged for anything extra but my credit card was charged extra for 2 rooms that I booked. They said it will be reimbursed after 10days but it’s been more than that and they don’t even know what those charges are for."

"Hotel is in nice location--right in the middle of Carmel. But this is a very dated property and our room was so small you couldn't change your mind in it. Bed had to be 50 years old. So don't expect much other than a nice location and we were able to check in early. Big plus was there was an EV charger in the parking lot."
