“Staff were nice however the overall stay was not great. They say breakfast included however not much to offer, constantly out of things with no replacements. Parking was terrible. Zero housekeeping, was not given the option to opt in or out of it. Would not recommend staying here nor would we stay again”

“Came out to Deadwood for Black Hills Motorcycle show & a weekend getaway. The Gold Dust was clean, comfortable & quiet. Everything is within easy walking distance and they provide free parking. Would stay there again”

“The staff was very helpful and addressed all of our needs. Our room had a musty smell that was noticeable each time we re-entered our room. The staff put a plug in air freshener which helped. We decided to stay an additional night and they gave us a good rate. The breakfast wasn’t too exciting, the same thing each morning, no variation, but enough to get us going for the day. We liked the location, was quiet and peaceful.”

“The rooms are recently renovated. We especially liked our large bathroom. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had parking in the back. This hotel has a good amount of slot machines too. But the #1 feature, is the location of the hotel. It is right across from Outlaw Square and the Silverado. We were able to sit on the balcony with a private bartender and enjoy the free concert. Definitely, will be looking for good rates at the historic Franklin again!”

“Nice hotel with clean, well maintained rooms and friendly staff. The only hiccup was when we first checked in the key would not open the door because the batteries in the door lock were dieing. They may want to periodically change them. Breakfast was also good. I would stat here again. Also the restaurant next door (The Magnolia Soup Kitchen) was awesome.”

“Everything en general was good, breakfast normal as in any hotel chain, the only bad point: the A/C was really noisy.”

“Very well maintained property in a quieter part of town. Within easy walking distance of downtown attractions. Starla was very personable and had lots of great suggestions for restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again if in the area! Thanks!”
