"The Norfolk is a heritage building with lots of character, live music and good dinning. The location is close to Freo hospital and the historic precinct, walking distance to train station makes travel from here on trains across the metro area very easy. Dave "

"It's a youth hostel so don't expect too much. Nice clean rooms at a good price. Common areas are a bit grubby"

"This place was newly refurbished. It was clean and modern unlike some of the other hostels. Spacious room, not crammed. Other facilities was good. Yellow CAT and Red CAT buses (free shuttle buses every 8 mins and 4 mins) were only 3 mins walk away. Convenient to go into city. Supermarket only 3 mins by walk. "

"Was ideal for our one night stopover after landing in Perth. Beds were comfy enough, and the kitchen was well equipped (although we didn’t use it). Would recommend for a short stay before heading on to another place. Well connected as within the free transport area."

"I believe it is a fair price but would like a shelf of some sort in the ensuite and maybe when cleaning, get rid of the spiderwebs near the air conditioner plus put in tv adjustable mounting to watch whilst in bed. Overall fair value I think, thank you "

"Booked this room just to have a place to store bags and get a nap between disembarking from a cruise and flying out at night. It was barely adequate for that--certainly would not have wanted to stay all night. Might be okay if you're under 25, even then it's over-priced."
