Meiken Onsen 2 Stars Hotels

"Very friendly"

"The hotel is not the most convenient to Hakuba town, but it is quite and there is a shuttle to two ski resorts (limited to three times a day, each way). The breakfast is a great way to start the day and the onsen is a nice place to relax after a day of skiing. The rooms are vintage charm, but the staff are so very friendly."

"Wonderful Experience! Staff was very attentive and accomidating. Breakfast was great, shuttle options were wonderful and the Onsen was superb. Being walking distance to chair lifts with access to Happo One was added plus"

"Spotless room, super friendly staff, amazing location. Will definitely visit again. "

"The room was clean and suitable for a week stay in Hakuba. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the Hotel was well located to enjoy the amenities in Echoland. The shuttle services to all the ski resorts are nearby which made it easy for my first time skiing in Hakuba. "

"The staff were so welcoming and it was a comfortable environment to stay at. "

"Lovely, great location, friendly staff"

"Good location and very helpful staff"

"Great slope side access. Basic accommodations, but staff are very friendly and helpful, and room was clean. "

"Need a couch in the living area. As it’s far out of town also provide a vehicle. "

"Great spot away from the busy Tokyo area. The rooms and the hotel is special in its own way and has a lot of character. Felt like being in my grandparents home. Really enjoyed staying here and it made it incredibly easy to walk to and from the train station to get bus tickets. Would definitely tell friends to stay here in the future. "

"Clean, great service, breakfast was very handy and accommodating for preferences. Knowledgeable English-speaking staff. Perfect"

"New hotel, comfortable rooms and good service with shuttle bus"

"Thanks to Jake and the crew for a ripper stay. Special mention to Jackson for making us feel very welcome. Looking forward to our next stay. "

"There was no staff at the front desk unless I called. Although the facility was old, all the equipment was in good working order."

"It's a wonderful hotel. Very clean, services were excellent. My family including the kids enjoyed staying thoroughly. Very close to our ski school, easy to find. Highly recommended."

"Great slice of cabin in the woods humble abode. Clean and warm. You will need a car with AWD and snow tires if visiting in the winter. Beware though, there are monkeys in the woods and they come out in the warm late afternoon. While they're incredible to see, they're smart so keep your food close, snap some pictures and steer clear of them. "
