"Hotel Minerva offers very good value for money. It is clean, comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Assisi is not large so most hotels in the centre are walkable to the main sites. Hotel Minerva is very close to the Cathedral - just a few minutes away. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We would definitely stay there again and therefore highly recommend "

"A truly excellent hotel in terms of value for money, service, cleanliness, decor and transport links. It's a two star, but I suspect if it had a lift it would rank higher. There are only three floors in total and there was a stair lift, if needed, for suitcases etc. The owner is a lovely, friendly and helpful lady and the hotel is directly opposite the train station for Assisi with frequent buses to the old town. I would highly recommend thus hotel. "

"Being at the top of the hill meant walking most places was down hill. Still some places to walk up mainly to the larger piazzia. Great dining around the hotel both for breakfast and dinner. Beautiful older state house with large open area overlooking Perugia. Would stay here again"

"Basic, functional, and really great room, on the small size but with a high ceiling and a sense of space and airiness. The room was very quiet and private, with great working electricity, plumbing, and AC, although the wifi was not that great. Lots of space, great lighting, very comfortable, although priced well above what it is worth, presumably due to the season. "

"Amazing traditional Tuscan scan meal! The hotel itself was alright. Good location to get to Assisi, quiet, lots off parking and nice surroundings but the room was very basic. An ok bed but the bathroom needed some attention. The toilet never fully flushed and there was no holder for the shower head so you had to hold it the whole time. The staff are wonderful and friendly."

"A fair value hotel clise to the entrance to the city walls. If you have a car there is free public parking close to the hotel. It was cold and the heat and the room was controlled by the owner. It was on in the evening - turned off overnighr and on the next morning. Okay for a one night stay."

"Unfortunately Expedia fouled up our booking so when we arrived there was no room for us. It appears this is not the first time it had happened and the hotel manager were very embarrassed. However, the hotel manager was marvellous, he found and booked us into another hotel, about five miles away, which turned out to be excellent. We returned to Oasis the next day for lunch and had a superb meal."

"The place was very cosy and close to the train station and funicolare, less than 5 minute walk. We had nice breakfast and the restaurant next door recommended by the hotel was very delicious and not too pricy. There was no air conditioning in the room but a fan was prepared, which was comfortable enough for us to sleep. "
