“We enjoyed our stay here. Location is fantastic with lots of restaurants nearby. We found more monkeys in the resort than in the rainforest, which the kids enjoyed. Very easy to get to the town Quepos nearby to experience life like the locals do. Depending on the beach you want to go, they are within 3-5 mins drive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend”

“Las instalaciones son muy antiguas y requieren de una intervención radical , los cuartos son amplios pero las amenidades muy reducidas El desayuno dos opciones y lo que hay no se puede cambiar ni pedir nada más , la ubicación del hotel es privilegiada y muy bien , los precios de un café o comida por encima de lo normal , en fin tiene muchos contras y ciertos pros”

“We loved this place as our home base! Very safe, private, secure, clean, and great customer service. Alejandro the waiter is the best!! Learned our names the first night and made us feel so welcome. Anytime he saw us, in the parking lot or walking to our room, he would yell out a name and greet us and ask how our day went. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Venting a room here is a steal!!!”

“I loved the pool area and the short walk to the beach and the park. The breakfast at the Puerto Escondido at the sister property next door (also walking distance) was excellent and a lifesaver for our family. The gift shop was awesome, and you can rent a boogie board for $10 dollars a day. The property was also surprisingly quiet given the fact that the park entrance is super close and the beach access is super close. Staff was super helpful and kind, made little arrangements with the towels……

“The Falls had a beautiful, lush jungle setting. The room was clean, and the king bed was very comfortable! The restaurant served delicious food at a reasonable price. We had a complimentary breakfast, which made it a better value! Overall, the convenient location, tropical surroundings, and great staff made our trip exceptional! We highly recommend it and would definitely visit here again!”

“Our stay at Cala Lodge was an absolute delight! What a very special place Francisco and family have created! We loved staying in the Mathilda House. It was perfect for our family of 5, ages 14-82, nestled in the cloud forest with floor to ceiling windows. It was incredible to see wildlife pass by, we felt lucky to be guests in their well-loved and protected forest. We had dreams and conversations with the howler monkeys throughout the night, and agoutis, coatis and diverse birds were easily seen……
