「The general condition of the hotel is poor, old, tired and a bit scruffy. The rooms just about fit the bill, but the bathrooms are very small. The general condition of the hotel is not good, the corridors are grotty and the floor is uneven. The staff are hit n miss, the cleaning ladies were friendly enough the night shift staff were completely incompetent, and don't expect room service, I had to order in a pizza!! 「Spacious family room, cracking location. We ate an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious. Staff are absolutely lovely, welcoming and cheerful. We cant wait to stay again.」

「The inn was okay and the staff were nice. Couldn’t sleep though which is the point of a hotel. Had a road facing room and could hear every single car as it sped by. Torture. The shower was also maybe the worst I’ve had in the last 5 years of constant travel. Felt like someone held a pinched hose over me and there was no water pressure at off peak shower times. 」

「Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs.」

「Lovely village pub and little room perfectly suited our needs for a quick overnight stay with very nice and very reasonably priced food. Staff very helpful but simply couldn’t resolve room lack of WiFi which also meant TV options restricted. Breakfast a little lacking - would suggest continental may include croissant or similar. That said….for what we needed it mostly met our needs.」
