"Biggest complaint is that the shower design was very poor and even when the door was closed completely water was running out of the shower onto the floor outside making it very dangerous. Additionally, there was no fan in the bathroom which was less than ideal. The actual bedroom area was very nice, parking was safe and plentiful, and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. The fact that you have to request housekeeping the night before is kind of annoying. Also, I called twice to confirm my request for early check in and late check out and was assured it was put in the system, but upon arrival it turned out that was not the case. "

"This hotel was a hidden gem finding for me. It’s beautiful, room had very tall ceilings, electronic window shades, clean and was art deco/boutique style. "

"The location is excellent. The room could use some renovation, but the woman working in the kitchen during breakfast truly stood out. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting guests with a warm smile and making everyone feel at home. Her positive attitude and attentiveness made the start of the day much more enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was fresh, well-prepared, and that guests had what they needed. Her kindness and energy were easily the highlight of the stay."

"Overall a very comfortable room, especially the bed. Was not aware of the change for parking, but given the location l was not surprised and the valet staff were very good. Breakfast was nothing special and overpriced."

"The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The Revel restaurant was very convenient inside the hotel and had a decent menu. This restaurant serves an excellent Pittsburgh Salad! The hotel restaurant needs to have coffee on its menu. Even though they don’t have coffee on their menu, they will serve you a decent cup of coffee if you ask for it. I am so glad that there’s a coin operated laundry room. The laundry room was so very helpful because we really needed to do our laundry. Do you have fresh clothes to wear. The laundry room has one front loading washer, and one dryer. The hotel is about a 14 minute walk from the Pittsburgh Amtrak and Greyhound Bus station. The hotel is conveniently located to Pittsburgh’s Market Square. Light Rail underground stations, Wood Street and Gateway are within walking distance. There is a CVS drugstore conveniently across the street if you need snacks and medicine for your travels. This hotel is very safe and secure and I recommend it."
