“Staff was very nice, but basic repairs need to be done. Large gravel size pieces of the pool cement breaking off the edges and sitting at the bottom. Room door would latch would not allow door to be pulled close normally after opening door and letting knob reset. LeavingYou would have to pull the knob down again from the inside to get it to close. We actually came back in the afternoon one day and the door was not shut all the way after housekeeping had come in due to the door issue.”

“We've been staying at this hotel since 2015. But every time, the quality of everything seems to go down. This year was the last straw. You'll pay for the view, but that's about it. “We received no housekeeping at all during our multi-night stay at Sea Ranch Resort. The hotel provides “Make Up Room” signs, so we placed one on the door, but nothing happened. Only after asking at the front desk were we told that housekeeping had to be requested separately and at least 24 hours in advance. This policy was not explained at check-in and was not included in our Expedia booking information. We then requested housekeeping for the following day, and the front desk confirmed the……

“The facility is very nice, the room clean. Staff member Ms. Karina is WONDERFUL, very professional and helpful. We booked a king with sleeper sofa. We arrived after 8pm. No access to sheets for the sleep sofa. No access to towels. Next morning my child, went to reception & asked for towels, he was lectured by staff member "Ms. M" about not using towels at the beach. He informed her we had our own beach towels. Ms. M, need serious training in customer services & customer recovery……

“It was such a pleasure meeting Bill and Veda during our stay! They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us a delicious breakfast each morning and even packing up extra fruit for us to take to the beach, which was such a thoughtful touch. The place itself is beautiful, cozy, and made us feel right at home. For our first visit to the Outer Banks, we truly couldn't have picked a better place to stay.
