"Nice place to stay,"

"Was a big room with a comfortable bed. A good size bathroom with an enclosed shower stall. Breakfast was good. "

"Staff was friendly, but the kiosk to check-in felt less warm than a normal check-in. Room was clean and neat, the bed was hard which I've heard is possible for Japanese rooms. A bit odd that the best way to walk there from the train station was to walk through a large park, but it was fine."

"The location must be reached by taxi or bus and buses are infrequent. I recall staying in a very nice hotel next to Kyoto station with probably only 2000 yen more that this basic room. No idea why Kofu is so costly. "

"Clean room near Kofu Station with Washer and Dryer on first floor. Very convenient. "
