“The Island House Hotel was very nice, clean, conveniently located. We also enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at the 1852 restaurant and had a good pizza at the Ice House in back. The room we had wasn't large but the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner didn't work too well but overall we had a great stay on the island.”

“Great location for shuttle pick up to Mackinac Island. Saved on parking at the dock.
Breakfast was, so, so at best. Friendly gal keeping it all stocked up and tables wiped down. WIFI connection issues that were mostly cleared up.
Can't say enough good things about Eleanore, the young lady who checked us in. There were a couple of minor issues, but she was right on it to make things right. She even went out of her way to help our friends with an issue they had with the Accessible Room. Five……

“We checked in just after 6pm for a 2 night stay. We got a call of a family emergency and had to check to check out 3 hours later. I fully expected to pay for the first night but not the second. The front desk said I needed to contact Expedia to get a refund for the second night because I paid through them. I contacted Expedia while driving home and was told the hotel would not refund the second night. Hmmmm....”
