「I stayed at this historic hotel for 3 nights back in July 2016 and absolutely loved it. The hotel was MUCH busier back then, completely full of guests. Now, in July 2026, I am sad to say that the hotel is not up to the same standard that it was 10 years ago. The entry had a musty smell, as did the 2nd floor hallway. I was concerned by some reviews but found everything to be well cared for. Our accessible room was large, spotlessly clean, had high ceilings, heavy woodwork, and a modern updated bath. The staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast is minimal and self-serve but was adequate for our needs.」
