「The staff was amazing! Valorie was helpful at every turn. The meals were delicious, although the timing seemed odd, dinner being served only Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday nights. The breakfasts were plentiful and filling, the fate being a variety of quiche, fruits, bread for toast, breakfast meat, granola. The ocean views were simply stunning. And the staff mixed fantastic cocktails. Only bad point was the water pressure in the shower being a little low, otherwise everything was delightful!」

「Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout. The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop. The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable. 「Our first time in Hawai’i, and this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Surrounded by lush forest and secluded, it was the perfect getaway. The central location on the island allows for east access to everywhere. We will definitely be talking about/recommending the volcano mist cottage to others. 」
