"We have visited The Swan at Streatley 5+ times in total over the past few years. For us, as we live relatively locally, it's a nice place to get away and enjoy a night away from home. Cleanliness is superb, as you should expect, as is comfort. All rooms, whichever size, are brilliant. However, the ones near the stairs, such as 21 I believe, have some noise if people are heavy on the stairs. However not a reason not to say and I believe they're one of the cheapest rooms. "Booked the hotel purely for the swimming pool for the grandchildren. Pool was great. Room was ok. Beds very comfortable. Had to have the pillows and duvets changed as my husband is allergic to feathers but that was no problem and done very quickly. Not much choice of food in the bar for the grandchildren so we ate elsewhere. "

"This is an opportunity to stay in a gorgeous historic property on the River Avon. The views from every room are stunning. You cannot beat the convenience of walking to ever place you need to visit. "

"The Ormond was ideal for our overnight stay in Tetbury.We enjoyed a drink and socialising with the locals in the bar,which had a good vibe about it.Our ground floor room was smartly furnishedand plenty big enough.The queen size double bed was very comfortable and the en-suite shower/toilet was well decorated, clean and provided plenty of powerful hot water both in the evening and morning.Our full english and vegetarian breakfast choices were well presented and ample in size.We enjoyed our stay...

"I was impressed with the staff and their enthusiasm. The hotel is a very impressive building although there was some decorating going on in some rooms during my stay. The only blemish during my stay was the television that a previous resident in the room had changed the settings and so it was not possible to get standard channels."

"It’s right on the water and it’s walkable. The room is a standard room, but the bed is comfortable and clean. The price is reasonable for the area. The Buffett breakfast is ok. "
