“I do not understand why this is rated a 4.9* hotel, it is good but definitely not luxury or upscale like I would consider with that rating. We were not wowed with this property as we have been with many other properties we have stayed. Location is good but I read that this is the only hotel "on the beach", I did not feel like it was either on the beach nor the only one in Orient Bay. The room was clean and comfortable, the best part of the room was the hurricane shutters that made the room……

“Clean rooms with nice staff and a good breakfast but with a nice walk to the beach. Rooms could have had a larger tv with easier use or directions for English. Overall quiet and beautiful with a wonderful experience.”

“Our second time here in 9 years. We came right before Hurricane Irma before. The resort is even better now! The restaurant didn’t blow me away like it did last time but was still good. The resort is just on a perfect slice of the Caribbean. Snorkeling in the cove is amazing, and there are endless places to relax. Never feels crowded even when it’s full. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Our host Nicky was an amazing help. She made my stay feel nothing but amazing, from communicating, to any help needed and made my stay feel like I’m at home. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want to be away from where mostly everyone stays when they travel to St. Maarten. Besides that the view was amazing, the complimentary snacks and beautiful touches in the unit. I will definitely return here again when I come back to St Maarten”

“Even-though the property and rooms were well maintained, unfortunately on the deck outside came a mouse on one night and a cockroach on the last night. Overall the staff was non-existent since the property was almost empty. Due to the seaweed infestation and very bad smell the property was uninhabitable outside. The beach was unswimmable. We were ones of unfortunate guest they ended up booking badly. When we called the reception to understand if this would last all week, they replied with an……
