"The best area is the new adults only whirlpool and panoramic sauna which has been built in thr last 2 years. This is more in line with the facilities at lefay dolomiti. The other main sauna and hammam areas probably need a refurbishment. They seem either too hot so cant stay in them long or not hot enough and there are no benches just individual seats in a circular way which means you are facing other people and cant lay down. "This was our second time visiting Grand Hotel Terme. We really love the warm thermal outdoor swimming pool overlooking Lake Guarda, the comfortable well appointed rooms with balconies overlooking the lake, the lavish morning breakfast and the location right at the entrance of the old city by the castle. It is the perfect place to go spend at the beginning or end of a long trip."

"We knew this hotel from when we had stayed a year ago. Oh how low it has fallen! No service at the pool, no service at the bar, no air conditioner (despite being at 29 degrees ) We had booked two nights, but we chose to leave after the first one as it was just such a terrible experience. Will not come back again."

"The hotel is a special property located about 4 miles outside of Verona. It makes sense to have a car.The setting is elegant country villa set in the middle of vineyards in the Valpolicella region. Numerous wineries and trattorias are minutes away. The front desk staff as well as Daniel, the manager were extremely helpful with information about the area.The rooms were comfortable with lots of atmosphere. Worth a return trip. !"

"Quiet in the off season but I can imagine it being very busy in the summer. Great location for visiting different towns around the lake. Accommodation was clean but a bit worn/dated."
