"I enjoyed my stay at the Millsap Baker Estate. The room and bath were very clean, and the atmosphere was peaceful. I learned alot about the history of the estate and Damascus from the owners."

The historic Barter Theatre anchors this charming Blue Ridge town where actors once performed for produce during the Depression. Cycle the scenic Virginia Creeper Trail in the morning, then explore downtown's galleries and sample local cuisine along brick-lined Main Street.
Abingdon is charming and was a great pick for our weekend anniversary trip. We love the Barter theater, and the downtown area is both beautiful and exciting. There are many churches, many walking (and sitting) areas, and much history to explore.

On this trip, I went to Abingdon to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail. Fall is definitely a great time to visit. In the past, I saw one of my favorite songwriters play an outdoor show there. Charming town. I'll be back.

The three block area including Martha Washington and the theaters needs to be expanded. Center of down town could have more coffee shops, gift shops, small restaurants, stuff that is not part of a chain.

Charming town. Most everything was closed (Sunday) so choose another day for your visit but I'm so glad we stopped here. Easily walkable town, full of history and charm.

Quaint town. Eating choices seemed a little limited - either the nice, high end restaurants that cater to the theater crowd or fast food. I tried one Mexican place (Puerto Nuevo) which was packed and busy but my meal was awful.

"My husband and I decided that we wanted to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. We were speechless in a very good way. We could not believe how amazing it looked. The staff (all) were more than helpful and very friendly. We are definitely planning on returning there very soon. "
"Claudia was outstanding! Truly the definition of customer service. I will only stay here when visiting Bristol in the future. Thank you so much, Claudia!"
