"The house was clean and the view was spectacular! Quiet lake. I don’t think we saw anyone else here. The colors were spectacular reflecting off the water. This was a great launching point to get to Acadia. The host had lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go which was helpful. He suggested route 9, which we did and the views were incredible."

"The Loon House was lovely. Right on the water, "quiet" is an understatement. The calls by the loons were eerily beautiful. Very clean and cozy interior. So many extras inside. Mattresses were really comfortable. Fires at night were amazing. Aside from several rainy days, visiting the Loon House in Maine was awesome. Looking forward to a return trip next year."

"Great location on a lake. We used the kayaks and had a fire every evening. About half hour from bar harbor without the expense. I liked the ambiance of the place. A bit rustic but very comfortable. I slept very well!"

"Overall had a great stay! The door was unlocked and ajar when we arrived late at night which was slightly unsettling. However, the host told us he would leave it unlocked. I think we would have preferred a more secured house prior to arrival. The carpet could have been cleaner, however, it is a cabin and was overall decently clean besides that. We enjoyed the patio, dock, and access to the kayaks! Host was very responsive and let us check out slightly late. Overall, I would recommend this cabin. Thanks for a good stay!"

"Beautiful view and great amenities esp for families with kids- great bunk room and game/media room with pool table and arcade games that our grandsons loved. Hot tub and fire pit were a big plus as well and the s’mores kit left for us was a great touch! Host was very communicative and we enjoyed the stay!"
