“This is a great place to get away from it all. It was really nice to have a place on the water and sit around a campfire in the evening. The house/cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. There aren't any stores or restaurants nearby, so stop at a grocery store in Ellsworth. There might be some firewood left by others, but it would be best to purchase some camp wood on the way. It is sold by seemingly everybody. Bar Harbor is an hour away by car. ”

“Got this as a surprise for my in-laws for Christmas since they used to family vacation here. We did typical sight seeing stuff. The house was perfect to hang out at after a long day. Even on a rainy day we were able to enjoy the rain fall on the deck and stay dry. House is exactly at described.
