“We really enjoyed our stay here. Great views of Akureyri and the northern lights. The room was spotless. Staff were very helpful - we asked about wine and beer as the bar wasnt open in winter. They got us a bottle of wine and some beers which was great as it was my partners birthday. ”

“Staff are generally nice and friendly, there is a bar downstairs which serves good food, many locals came for dinner so is quite vibrant if you would like to mingle with people from different counties. However the room does not include duvet which means you either have to rent one (1100 isk) or bring your own sleeping bag. You will have to bring your luggage upstairs too.”

“I really can’t recommend this place. The house was in very poor condition – there was mold on the walls, and it smelled overwhelmingly of detergent and perfume. The air inside was so heavy that I could hardly breathe, and I didn’t sleep at all during the night. My eyes were red and itchy the entire time. The room was tiny, with absolutely nowhere to put clothes – no hooks, no shelves, nothing. It felt very uncomfortable and impractical. The location itself is good, but unfortunately that’s the……

En una de la noches del fin de semana me llamó la atención que me desperté porque unos jóvenes estaban haciendo trompos con los carros, fueron 5 minutos, sin embargo me llamó la atención.”

“Property is kept in excellent condition. They are very particular and clear about cleaning responsibilities of their guests. The result is a well kept property. I could not figure out how to control the heat in our cabin so we just opened windows. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again. ”
