「The room was clean and very well maintained. The furniture was very nice and cozy with lots of seating. The view of Lake Superior was amazing on the balcony and from the side window. Since we had a cool, windy evening the fireplace was very cozy. The complimentary coffee at The Sandbar Cafe was a nice added touch. We will definitely try to come back again.」

「Loved it very much, My friend and I arrived very late in the night, thought it could be a issue to clock-in, while they left us the key in envelope which ensure us to enter the room. The staff are super friendly and nice, the rooms are clean, I would definately recommend this place」

「This B & B was fabulous. We only stayed one night, but everything was wonderful. The house is beautiful and clean. Our room had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and answered back promptly. Would definitely stay here again.」

「This hotel is on a lovely property and from the outside, looks like a grand historical hotel. The interior decor is not in alignment with the building and the rooms are tired. Breakfast was just okay. I would stay again if there were no other options and be okay, but the cost would be hard to take considering the experience. This could be an amazing hotel, it needs some TLC to get there.」

「Beautiful location within easy 5-10 minute walking distance to downtown Bayfield shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Madeline Island. We were there for peak fall leaves color. The view of the lake, the island, the small marina, the trees, and the sunrise from the cozy furniture on the deck outside our door was amazing. It is a motel, so there is the potential for noise from the vehicles that park outside the rooms, but it was a non-issue. Our stay was peaceful, pleasant, and perfect.」

「Sweet little place, clean and comfortable for our two night stay. The small refrigerator was enough for our purpose of eating breakfast only but the freezer was small and didn’t hold our container. Counter space is limited for personal products. But the location is central to many attractions and the fire pit is stacked with wood for an enjoyable evening.」
