“The Yard Arm Motel is managed by dear,hospitable and dog lovin folks who truly provide a dog friendly place to stay! The. Rooms are dog friendly! The property includes trails through a lovely green wood into a large mowed area where dogs can safely play away from a busy road and other guests. The property is welcoming, with flowers overflowing in window boxes. There is a fire pit. There is a breakfast room that provides continental fare and a perfect time to meet other travelers from all……

“I stayed in a lovely little cottage (#26) and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The grounds are so peaceful, and they have a pretty little beach. The cottage was small, but I never felt cramped because there are windows on all sides, which makes it feel expansive and filled with light and fresh air. There are parking spaces outside each unit. The kitchen was small, but adequate for my needs. They had everything in the kitchen to make meals, although the refrigerator is one of those under-counter……
