"The room itself was fair. The check in process was horrible. I paid to upgrade my room and have a high floor. Upon arrival (check in @3pm) they had me and my wife waiting for 2 hours to get our room. They said they would call when it was ready, they didn’t. I was sitting right next to the reception desks, nobody informed me. After approaching to see if it was ready, they said the room was ready after 2 whole hours. We just flew in and were exhausted and had to wait 2 hours for a room that we had booked well before that day. The customer service was trash in this experience. I kept asking why this would happen and they just kept ignoring me. Unacceptable behavior. They proceeded to give me 1 drink voucher. Not even 2 for me and my wife. Look elsewhere."

"Been staying here for over 30 years since it was threadbare and referred to by cabbies as the "Pigeon Palac" they put a lot of money in it in recent years always great "

"Everything was amazing at the Royal Garden Hotel, the room was beautiful and wonderfully accommodated with toiletries and modern amenities. The staff was even better and I would like to acknowledge especially Mr. Jim Cameron, who was incredibly helpful and provided a Royal Garden Inn bear after I asked for one! My students will be so excited to see it, as I love to bring souvenirs to show and inspire them to travel the world. Hopefully one day they will make their way here!"

"Disappointed for the price. Water was scalding making it impossible to use overhead shower. Turning taps did not make it better. No place to stand kettle on to boil. I expected better for the price "
