「We received a lovely warm welcome. Lovely hotel. Nice location close to the beach. Lovely comfortable rooms with small en suite bathroom. Big plus for me was the kettle with plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Will definitely book again when coming to Devon.」

And when waiting for a taxi after having checked out, one of the staff who served breakfast offered me a small pot of tea whilst I was waiting. 「Traditional pub building in the middle of a village. The bar was full of local people having a good time but no noise made it through to the bedroom due to very thick walls. Nice room, clean, huge bed plenty of indirect lighting and enough power points. New en suite bathroom. Very friendly but unobtrusive staff. Excellent full English breakfast.」

「As per previous reviews, it could do with a refurb but for the cost, we feel it was good value for money. Great location, lovely views from our room and close to local shops and restaurants. One suggestion I would make is concerning the lack of available power sockets in the room. These could be changed out to combined usb and socket to allow the charging of phones and using the kettle/ hairdryer etc. quick fix. Parking was a bit confusing, it states that hotel has a limited car park...
