The hotel in our opinion is a little tired and in need of a bit of love / upgrade. It sometimes is colder at nights in Arusha, so having a restaurant outside, doesn't always work. The breakfast room felt a little like a school classroom. For us though the biggest attention should maybe considered in the rooms. Our bed was uncomfortable and we could feel the springs throughout...

"The hotel has significant grounds around it and there are lots of birds. It is just outside Arusha and so much quieter and clean air, there is a lawn and pool and tables to relax and socialize while taking in a great view of Mt Meru and all the birds. The staff are all so so happy and friendly and the place is kept immaculate, with cleaning and gardening work. The food was also excellent - flavourful and well prepared. "The hotel compound is very green and at a quiet location. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Food in the restaurant is good and the sunset view sitting at the pool having dinner is just fantastic. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We even got a tour through the hotel's own garden."
