“A comfortable bed. Bathroom was great with plenty of hot water. Good parking. Delicious breakfast. Only issue was no plugs in the bathroom.”

“This is the second time we've stayed here. Love the place, beautiful old english manor style, staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful too. We plan to stay here again!”

“Some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced in a long time was provided by the friendly and helpful host. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this place for an authentic UK atmosphere. We loved the environment and can’t wait to see the vision of the remodel work. We’ll definitely be visiting again! Located in a small town with friendly locals.”

“Lovely rooms & very helpful staff.”

“Just great - unique and cosy - the most comfortable bed ever”

“The property had bags of character. The bar area was relaxed and welcoming and there was a cave in it too, which was brilliant. We had dinner the first night and the restaurant was very spacious and the food choices were great and very well presented and flavoured. Breakfast was in the same space so it was lovely in the morning to see the view of trees and grass. The breakfast was excellent too. “Enjoyable stay”

“We had such a lovely stay! The house is so unique, our room was beautiful and spotless, as was the en-suite! The couple whose home it is were so kind and welcoming. We had a lovely stay, lovely breakfast, and would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of booking.”

“Convenient and very clean room, easy to access after hours. Very helpful staff who were flexible about check-in times. Excellent breakfast in the pub.”

“The host is friendly, warm and nice. Room is tidy and clean. TV is good. Everything is great. This is the B&B I wish to stay again if I have the chance to travel via LGW”

“Was such a treat and would love to return! Thank you x”

“Lovely rooms with streaming in the tv Nespresso coffee always a plus. Usual amenities, good food offer & reasonably priced. Highly recommend, lovely area with a local village store & post office which is great”

“Shower had a draining issue and in room fan was pretty noisy (hence we couldn't use it). Nonetheless, overall it was a decent stay.”

“This was fun and different to do. However £380 for one night on a Sunday in October was way too much. I think £200 would be a fairer price. I’ve stayed in way nicer treehouses for less than £380 during the winter. I expected much higher standard. The bathroom was tiny. There should have been underfloor heating as the floor was freezing and it took ages to heat up using the fire and the pathetic heaters under the bed. It was too cold for a long time and cold when we woke up in the morning and……
