“The service from the staff was exceptional and really was the highlight of the trip. Elvis and Felix spoke English and really helped us navigate the city, arrange rides and make plans. The location is beautiful and very relaxing, though the distance from the city made it a bit challenging to get food. The provided breakfast was excellent and the restaurant on site was also really good (but a bit pricey).”

“The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs……

“Perfect stay ! We booked 2 nights and finally stayed 4. The house is made of recycled materials and it's very well made with a lot of cachet. Solar energy for the nights. Your are in the middle of the jungle and ricefields. 15 minutes walk to the village. The surrandings are amazing and the people too. Adi the owner did everything he could to welcome us even if he is in recovery. With the help of Komang who took time for us and Adi's sister who cooked amazing balinese breakfast. Beautiful……
